Bicicleteada Teatral (Theatrical Bicycle Ride) ~ December 8-24:Come and enjoy nature, sports and the classics of world literature with a bicycle ride along the Southern Cultural Mile. Each participant must bring their own bike and helmets are recommended for safety. Travel time is 120 minutes, approximately. Activity will be suspended for bad weather.

Christmas Theme Park ~ December 8-24: Free holiday fun including an elf village, toy factory (where children can participate in different activities, making their own toys, crafts and drawings), and Santa Claus cabin where children can meet Santa Claus and take pictures with him.

The Feast of the Immaculate Conception (Inmaculada Concepción de María) ~ December 8th: This is a national holiday and everyone has the day off of work. It is also the day that all the Christmas trees and decorations go up.
Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Film (BAFICI) ~ December 8 and 9: One of the largest independent film festivals in the world. The 14th edition of "Traveling BAFICI" or BAFICI Itinerante, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Buenos Aires City Government in collaboration with local institutions, will be held at different cities of the country between July and December 2012.
Norah Jones Concert ~ December 8 and 9: Norah Jones will promote her new album "Little Broken Hearts".

Festival Rock & Reggae 2012 ~ December 7, 8, and 9: Some of the best Rock and Reggae bands from Argentina and Uruguay will perform at the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas stadium.

Buenos Aires Italian Film Festival (BACI - Buenos Aires Cine Italiano) 2012 ~ December 5 - 9: Telecom Italia presents the second Italian Film Festival in Buenos Aires, featuring the most recent award-winning Italian films, including short films, documentaries, and works by emerging directors. Films will be shown in their original language with Spanish subtitles.
Hanukkah Music Fest 2012 ~ December 12th: The Jewish community in Argentina Jabad Lubavitch celebrates the Hannukah festivities with a free open air Festival. The Orchestra Kef will give a music show and the festival will finish with fireworks.

Gallery Nights ~ December 12th: Get to a gallery nights before they end! This free event offers gallery hopping and champagne in some of the best neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. You can also download audio guides from the Gallery Nights website, although they are only in Spanish.
The event starts at 7pm, but you might get there early for a walk through the bohemian barrio of Palermo.
MDNA Tour (Madonna Concert) ~ December 13th: The ninth concert tour by American entertainer Madonna will take place in Buenos Aires, to promote her twelfth studio album, MDNA. Address: River Plate Stadium - Av. Figueroa Alcorta 7597, Núñez
Night of Shopping (Noche de Shopping) ~ December 23rd: On this night, most of the malls stay open until 5am to make sure everyone has a chance to buy all their presents. Each mall has different promotions as well as fireworks and live bands playing at midnight.
Night of Books (La noche de la librerías) ~ December 15th: A night celebrating journalism, literature, and reading.
